Missing Questions

"Sehingga ke sana kau kan kucari,"
'Ke Hujung Dunia,' Panasonic Lumix FZ-18, Jacksparrow M., jacksparrow.art,
2007 (c).

Sitting on my chair looking out the window
Into the dark night into my own shadow
You linger in my mind I could not push away
Thinking about you make me all go sway

Where are you? I ask myself that
Especially at this time, where you could be at?
In your bed sleeping like a little child
Or still wide awake with your speech running wild?

How many times you smiled today, a lot?
How's your way today, good or bent like a fishing rod?
Or was it as straight as it had always been
Like those roads in the fields of Aberdeen?

Have you had your meals, I do wonder
Are you happy today or are you going under
All these questions that I'm asking myself
They keep on repeating until there is nothing left

Sitting on my chair there's nothing else to do
It's three in the morning, minute twenty-two
It's hard to bear this feeling of missing you
But I know somewhere in the mist of the night
You're somewhere, anywhere out there, missing me too.
